Nutritional therapy. Empowering wellness through the science of nutrition and lifestyle.

Nutritional therapy harnesses the power of diet and lifestyle in promoting long term health and quality of life. Practitioners use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional and system imbalances and understand how these may be contributing to your symptoms and health concerns. Whether you’ve been struggling with sub-optimal health for a long time, are negotiating the challenges of a new life stage, or simply looking to optimise your health and wellbeing, nutritional therapy can guide and support you.

At Rhodes to Health, my focus is on helping you better understand your body and feel empowered to play an active role in your own health. I work with clients across different ages and stages of life, providing a supportive and collaborative approach that recognises that health is individual and there is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution.

Areas which I support include:

Special interest

Special interest

My areas of special interest include women's health and supporting people with complex and longstanding health concerns. This is an area particularly close to my heart, having experienced a debilitating and complicated illness myself. You can read more about my own journey in the About section.

Perhaps you've been experiencing symptoms for some time and are searching for greater clarity and support. You may feel that you still lack answers despite numerous investigations, or you may have received a diagnosis, but remain unsure how best to move forward. Either way, navigating complex health concerns can be both frustrating and overwhelming.

My approach is to step back and look at the whole picture, considering the different factors that may be influencing your overall wellbeing and how they interact. Together, we can explore personalised nutrition and lifestyle strategies designed to support your individual needs, complement any medical care you are receiving, and help you feel more informed, empowered, and confident in managing your health.

Lynette Rhodes

“Lynette was very patient while trying to get all the information from me, non-judgmental (essential if you want people to be honest), very clear in explaining the concepts and very thoughtful in trying to find a solution that works for me. One thing that struck me was the science - it made me feel that this really is the right way to go about eating … a genuinely well researched and documented factual/clinical area of knowledge.”

“Lynette’s post menopause course is excellent.  Clearly structured  and carefully delivered online over a couple of sessions.  It was pitched just right — good explanations of our hormonal changes and full of easy to implement practical suggestions.  Highly recommend. ”
